Hello,

After this Wintersdays Event and with absolutely no sleep something made me ponder!

Now I want to know something really important.. After been farming all GW areas thin and NOT a Single Tonic Drop!!! <---- Bought 100 Gifts, ran FoW / UW normal/ursanway, DoA'd, Solo'ed and teamed up with other players doing both normal and hard mode!

NOT A SINGLE TONIC DROP!

I have never played PvP, except when Snowball & Dragonfight and so on are active. I have been playing GW since beta testing, and got to play 3 days or a week before most people did, my main charr got 27 million xp, all skills and sh!tloads of ranks except anything from PvP!

My question to Gurumembers and other GW players: Does ANET "punish" non PvP playing people by making their drops virtually non-existent and uninteresting??

I PvP all the time and I constantly get all the good drops

I never PvP and I never get any good drops

Could B quite interesting to know peoples experiences in the above!

You are not alone, I've never seen a tonic in GW.

I've found that my drops differ across different chars. My Wars gets crap all the time, while my Ele gets good stuff.

Belongs in Riverside btw.

Still farming Dungeons in Hard Mode, and guess what.... Tadaaa no Tonics still.

I dare to call that guy in the "NEW FROST TONIC" thread who claims to have farmed 7 Tonics are lier, sorry, but everybody and everything says they have got no Tonics.

So either that man is full of it or ANET is unfair!!!

The drop rate is rather low, if you want them, you better start farming snowmendungeon/vaetir/raptornestlings/... .

Been farming most of the day and got 8 Tonics (while finding ~280 Eggnog ~260 Snowmensummoner and ~290 Fruitcake)
(That where ~11 hours raptor farming while watching tv with ~25drops each item/hour)

There is just no way to get good amounts of special event drops by playing in a normal manner.

got 3 farming raptors, only 3 hours worth of farming. luck of the draw, mang.

Yes... I farmed the last hours at Riven Earth (Raptors), none Tonics, guess my Santa outfit was a fluke
